Tight Cervix
A tight cervix is one that does not open properly and can be caused by scared tissue from HPV diagnotic procedures such as a cone biopsy.
During the ovulatory period the cervical changes make it hospitable to sperm transport. If the patient has a history of infertility, the cervical canal can be dilated with progressively larger instruments or by placing laminaria (a small seaweed stem) for a day.

Tight Cervix -

This condition usually occurs in women who have never had a pregnancy, and it is very difficult to make such a diagnosis through visual inspection alone. If you are having regular menses and they are not unusually painful, it is likely that the cervix is open enough. A tight cervix is one that does not open properly and can be caused by scared tissue from HPV diagnotic procedures such as a cone biopsy.
