Incompentent Cervix
Everything is done to minimize the risk of incompentent cervix while performing a LEEP procedure for treatment of vaginal dysplasia.
The symptoms of cervical oncompetence are: pelvic heaviness and lots of discharge. Weakening from the previous childbirth, surgery, or late pregnancy termination may cause this condition, and many times a cause cannot be found. This incompetence is very dangerous and may lead to miscarriage at 18-24 weeks.
Everything is done to minimize the risk of incompentent cervix while performing a LEEP procedure for treatment of vaginal dysplasia.

Incompentent Cervix -
LEEP Procedure, Vaginal Dysplasia
The cervical canal is about 1.5-2 inches long. It connects the uterus to the vagina and keeps the uterus closed. The canal may be shortened when pressure is put on the uterus. The cervical incompetence occurs when the dilation goes without contraction in mid-pregnancy. Everything is done to minimize the risk of incompentent cervix while performing a LEEP procedure for treatment of vaginal dysplasia.
