Cervix Leep
A cervix LEEP procedure is done for HPV infection revealed by a Pap smear in some cases.
With severe dysplasia there is the danger of excessive scar tissue, but most women don’t have any problems. A small percentage may have a recurrence of the dysplasia making it important to have regular follow-up visits for Pap smears afterwards.

This procedure is used to treat cervical dysplasia, a pre-cancerous change in the skin of the cervical cells. There are several procedures to remove the dysplasia: cryosurgery, cone biopsy, laser ablation and loop electrosurgical excision procedure. Your doctor will discuss the best option for your case.
