Cervix Closed
A stenotic cervix, closed cervix, can result from cervical trauma and can lead to miscarriage and infertility.
Sometimes cervical stenosis makes the opening too large and impedes menstrual flow, leading to increased cramping and a higher chance of endometrosis. If a woman has a cervix that is staying closed during the labor, much danger is involved in this situation.

Cervical stenosis is a scarred sphyncter that won't open. This disorder can happen from any cervical trauma, such as LEEP procedures, conization, hysteroscopy for dysplasia and others, or after menopause. During the labor the stenotic tissue disintegrates with sharp pain. A stenotic cervix, closed cervix, can result from cervical trauma and can lead to miscarriage and infertility.
